The Emoji Kitchen on Gboard will get over 1,600 new mashups for Pride Month and the summer as well as more custom stickers. Simply type in one emoji (or two) into a message, and then see what kind of mashups you can create in the form of emoji stickers. In the end, you get some amusing and occasionally bizarre emojis, such as a watermelon soccer ball.
In addition to Gboard, Google is updating two of its accessibility-oriented apps: Sound Amplifier and Lookout. An updated user interface, better background noise reduction, and "faster and more accurate" sound are on the way to Sound Amplifier, a device that amplifies specific sounds for persons with hearing loss. Google is adding an offline mode to Lookout, an app for visually impaired individuals, as well as a mechanism for users to hear a description of a picture from within "just about any" app or browser.
While you're playing a game, you'll soon be able to use your Google Play Points to buy items. You won't have to go through the additional steps of converting your Play Points into a coupon before making a purchase as a result of this change. Over the next few weeks, Google said it will begin implementing the feature.
